Making a Good Impression

Well, with a super introduction from the sexiest single man I know, Hal has introduced you to my super shitty blog. Hopefully I will follow through with posting more than 6 times this year....time will tell.

Anywho......was surfing the net tonight and came across some demotivational posters. I got a laugh out of them....hopefully you will to. Maybe my next post will be a little more intelligent, but probably not.

MMA Superfan

I absolutely love MMA (Mixed Martial Arts)! The biggest organization, with the best fighters in the world is the UFC. They put on awesome cards with multiple great fights....most of the time. This lead in has everything to do with my last post.


As you know, we will be going to Breckenridge to ski, getting there on January 31st. This is also the same day as one of the biggest MMA fights in recent history. Georges St. Peirre vs. BJ Penn. These guys are absolute studs! They have fought once and it went to a heavily contested split decision giving the victory to GSP. Many fans say that BJ gassed, and if he took his training more seriously, he would have smashed GSP. If the first round where he was fresh was any indication, this might very well be the truth.



Well, the problem with all of this is that I have to find a place to watch this fight in Colorado. HAVE TO!!!! I usually just purchase the PPV at home and enjoy the fights in the comfort of my own home whilst consuming multiple cocktails. I am really bummed that I wont be at home for this fight. So.......the search is on. Hopefully I am able to find a bar that shows the fight and isn't too far away from our condo!

New years resolution

As many people do, I am making a new years resolution to resuscitate my dead blog. Trying to find new outlets for some of my spare time that might be a little more productive :) or maybe not, but either way, here it goes.

I am more than excited about going skiing the first week of February. We are leaving with my Aunt and Uncle the morning of 1.31.09 from KC. Between writing html & css at work I find myself day dreaming about the trip. I went skiing for the first time 2 years ago and have wanted to go back ever since. Along with that, I have found myself worrying about whether or not I will remember how to ski and if I will kill myself the first day trying to remember. I hope it's like riding a bike......guess we will see. Well....I guess I will leave you with my first post in over a year with what I will be seeing sometime on the 31st.
